Whiz kid from way back? Then you already probably know about tools like IETester, which allows you to run things like IE10 on old Windows OS like XP. It's a very nifty program for anyone who wants to avoid the 'necessity' of Windows 10 but still wants to enjoy their favorite websites. Great for website testing, as well.

With IETester, you can run a variety of Internet Explorer versions. This works by allowing the user to have the same rendering as Windows 10 and engines IE 5.5 through IE 11 for JavaScript. This browser is compatible with Windows operating systems XP to 8.

This isn't just great for testing out websites, either. This is the perfect program to use if you prefer an older version of Internet Explorer. Again, it's pretty much an essential for anyone who is using an older or outdated Windows operating system.

It's not 100% perfect. It's not a complete or true browser. It also has a few glitches, such as the next and back buttons being finicky, the JavaScript alerts and confirms do not work, and IE6 only allows you to use Flash if you're running it in Admin mode.

These are all bugs that the developers are working on ironing out. And for the most part, it doesn't ruin user capabilities.

If you're looking for a superior browsing experience, you might not like IETester. However, it's a very functional tool and comes in handy to use with various applications.

IETester is constantly being worked on by its developers and is improving by the minute.
